Jonathan Tasini's U.S. Senate Campaign, part 2

Lately, I've been continuing to document Jonathan Tasini's Senate campaign. On July 13, he traveled to Albany to deliver approximately 40,000 signatures to the State Board of Elections. He needed at least 15,000 signatures in order to qualify for the ballot, and force a Democratic primary race against Hillary Clinton--and he needed twice that many in order to safeguard against being disqualified by invalid signatures. The Clinton campaign decided not to challenge the signatures, and the Tasini campaign is now gearing up their efforts for the September primary.

The Cage

As the location of some of the fiercest pickup basketball games in the city, The Cage on West 4th Street is legendary. Amateur players from all over the city come here to compete.

Jonathan Tasini's U.S. Senate Campaign

Recently, I started trailing Jonathan Tasini's grassroots campaign for U.S. Senate. He's running on a progressive anti-war platform, and hopes to challenge Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Primary, provided that he gets enough signatures to get on the ballot. I donated three of the pictures that I took last weekend at Pride Parade to the campaign--you can see them here:

The first three are mine (as you can see by the photo credit). There are two others, which were taken by somebody else.
